Since 2001 Human Rights organizations, civic society, journalists and NGO have published an enormous number of articles, reports, press statements etc on prisoners and prison conditions in Eritrea. These reports can also be found in the reports of Amnesty international, Reporters Without Borders, CJP and other Human Rights organizations, including on the Asmarino.com, Awate and other Eritrean websites.

EHREA takes the initiative to group together relevant web resources of the various websites in order to make them easily accessible to the public, to facilitate public awareness of the gross human rights violations in Eritrea.
